Who do you think is in the Cooley doghouse tonight? (Hint- it's not a member of the canine species)

That's right, yours truly is in the doghouse this evening.

Allow me to set the scene. Katherine and I are with the puppies remarking on how cute they are when in walks Zotie, leading me to make which of the following remarks:

A) "Your puppies cuteness is overshadowed only by my beautiful and intelligent wife, the love of my life, Katherine."

OR

B) "Zotie you have made the cutest things in this house."

If you answered "B" you are very correct and I am very much in trouble.

The good news, dear readers, is that because I am so practiced in the art of buffoonery I was able to resist the urge to argue semantics seeing as my statement applauded Zotie's reproductive prowess and an equivalent statement involving Katherine would have been directed to Katherine's parents and since they were not in the house the compliment could only be directed to Zotie.

Luckily I am smart enough to choose the doghouse over the outhouse.

It's a tie! White Beard the Pink Nosed Pirate and Slash share the distinction of being the heaviest puppies at their first weigh in. They came in at a piggish 1.11 lbs. Their siblings in descending order weighed in at:
